NATION BRAND CONFERENCE
Tom Lincoln
Director
Wharton Nation Brand Conference

Tom Lincoln is a consultant, attorney, and artist who collaborates with clinical psychologist and artist Dr. Tracy Steen.

Together with Dr. Steen, Lincoln co-founded the image and design consulting firm TNT Content & Design. Their nation-branding projects include assisting Wharton professor David J. Reibstein to produce the Best Countries report, in collaboration with U.S. News & World Report and Y&R’s BAV Consulting. The Best Countries report ranks country brands across multiple dimensions based on an international survey.

Wharton Magazine featured Lincoln’s nation-branding insights in his article “Brazil’s Two Brands.” The article examines Brazil’s conflicting brand identities: “beautiful, sexy, and fun vs. poor, corrupt, and out-of-control.”

Lincoln and Steen are also the recipients of a Social Media Leadership Award from the Wharton School, which recognized their art project Monument as an example of how to use social media to promote a more unified world.

As an attorney, Lincoln has engaged in complex cross-border litigation on the appellate and trial levels. He is an alumnus of two international law firms, Dechert LLP and Duane Morris LLP, and was a law clerk for the Hon. William H. Yohn, Jr., in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Lincoln graduated from Swarthmore College with Honors and obtained his law degree from New York University School of Law.
